MLH RTE ch. 6

Back in Ponyville, Sonic had escaped the belly of the still-giant Spike. The dragon was feeling woozy that the hedgehog escaped by burping him out, but he had recovered and growled at the little group in front of him. Thinking quickly, Sonic turned to tails and asked "Tails, I think I'm gonna need a Chaos Emerald for this." Tails nodded in agreement. "Ok, I can go get one from the Tornado." "Alright, I can always count on you Tails." said Sonic giving the young fox a thumbs-up. "Thanks Sonic, I'll be right back." Tails quickly whirled his tails together and took off for his plane.

Spike charged at Sonic again, and Sonic sidestepped his charged and lured him over to the other side of the block. Suddenly, Discord appeared in a flash of teleportation light, making Sonic and the others look up. "Did you all behave while I was gone?" he asked. "By the way, check out my new bling!" He showed off his hands, the necklaces of the Elements of Harmony on his fingers, the tiara on his thumb, making the six ponies gasp. "Discord, stop this right now! Change Spike back to normal!" shouted Twilight in anger. The draconeques just twirled around like a ballerina as if he heard nothing. "Oh I'm sorry, did you say something?" he said. Sonic on the other hand shook his head. "Forget it Twilight, he won't lisen to reason, so we'll just have to take him down the old fashioned way."

He jumped toward Discord tried a homing attack, but missed. "You gonna do that again?" Sonic tried another homing attack, and it looked like it would make its mark, but Discord turned to smoke as soon as the hedgehog hit him.Sonic fell into a big catcher's net that closed up as soon as he landed in it. The real Discord was holding the net, laughing to himself. "Hey, let me go!" shouted Sonic as he struggled to break free of the net. "Oh come on, don't you want to have fun?" chuckled Discord as he poked the net with his eagle talons. This made the blue hedgehog angry and struggle around inside the net. "Oh relax, we're going to play some fun games, you and I." said Discord.

Then Rainbow Dash zoomed into the air in front of them. "Where are you taking him?" "Isn't it obvious? Just a little while ago I said where I was going. You'll all know where to find me." Discord snapped his fingers and teleported away while his demented laugh echoed out. At the same time, Tails came running back with the yellow emerald but he was too late. "No, Sonic!" Then the rampaging Spike lumbered toward the friends, slamming his tail where Tails was.

Rainbow Dash swooped down and grabbed the fox before he was flattened, causing him to drop the emerald. Spike looked down saw it give a quick shine. He smiled and gave a happy growl. "No, the emerald!" shouted Tails from the side. Spike picked up the emerald in between his claws, but it gave off a bright light and he shuddered and grunted. He slowly started to shrink down to his original size with the emerald still in his grasp. He also regained his self control. Twilight galloped up to him giving him a big hug. "Oh Spike, you're you again!" "Ow, let go Twilight, my body's sore all over." Twilight immediately released him and blushed. "Uh, sorry. Hehe."

Spike looked at his surroundings, wide eyed. There were small craters and some buildings were damaged and one destroyed. "Whoa, did I do all this?" Twilight tilted her head in confusion. "Yes Spike, I'm afraid you did. Are you saying you can't remember anything while you were transformed?" Spike put a hand to his head. "Well… I really don't know. It was like I was having a dream." he sadly replied.

Pinkie jumped up and down all around the Chaos Emerald. "Oh oh, did you see what I did? The emerald must have turned Spike back to normal when he touched it." Twilight was baffled by the discovery. "But how can that be?" Tails walked up and explained "Well the Chaos Emeralds do have powers even I don't know about. Its energy must have negated Discord's magic when Spike touched it." "Well I reckon we use that to fight against Discord." said Applejack.

Then they all saw a dark figure in the sky racing toward them and landed in exhaustion. "Princess Luna, what are you doing here?" asked Fluttershy. Luna panted for a little bit, but was able to catch her breath and get out what she had to say. "We… I have come to seek thy help. Discord has my sister captive. He has used his power to change. I now ask if you, thy fellowship of friends, will assist me in saving her." Obviously there was no other answer to that question. "Of course we will we Princess, we'll do whatever we can to to get thing back to normal." said Rainbow Dash.

"Ok but I'll need to get the other emeralds from the Tornado." Amy, Twilight and the others stared at him agasp. "What? You have other emeralds?" asked Twilight. "You said you only brought one. How many others do you have?" asked Amy. Tails blushed and put a hand to neck and said "Well it just slipped my mind but I actually brought all seven with me. Hehehe." Everyone except Luna fell down anime style and got right back up. "WHAT?! You had all seven this whole time and it just SLIPED YOUR MIND?!!" screamed Twilight in rage. Applejack had to hold her back from destroying the little fox. "Calm down Twilight, all that really matters is that we have what we need. Now let's go." Twilight huffed and they all went to the other emeralds and saddlebags for the adventure.
